Our Story
Two ideas that turned out to be the same one
Traveland opened in 1977 with a simple pitch: a vacation you buy once and use for twenty years beats the ones you rent. Nearly five decades on that has become ten Supercentres across British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, more than a thousand RVs in stock, and eighty technicians keeping them all running.
Airstream fits because Wally Byam got there first. He started building riveted aluminum trailers in 1932 so that ordinary people could, in his words, put the great wide world at their doorstep. Roughly seventy percent of every Airstream ever built is still on the road, which is not a claim any other manufacturer can make.
So this is the Airstream side of the house: dedicated showrooms at Langley, Airdrie, Cowichan Valley and West Kelowna, technicians who work on aluminum every week rather than once a season, and a parts counter that can still find a piece for a 1974 Sovereign.
The rest of it comes free with the trailer. The caravans, the rallies, the stranger who wanders over at the campsite because they have one too. Wally called it a fellowship of the open road, and ninety years later that part still does most of the work.

We sell one thing here
This site is Airstream and only Airstream. Nobody here is going to move you onto a bonded sidewall because the margin is better. If an Airstream is not right for you, we will say so and point you at the wider Traveland lineup.
Family-owned since 1977
Traveland has been in the same family for nearly fifty years. That is long enough to have sold RVs to three generations of the same households, which is a powerful incentive not to burn anyone.
The service bay is the real business
Eighty factory-trained technicians and full body shops. Anyone can sell you a trailer. Keeping a riveted shell watertight for thirty years is the harder job, and the one that matters.
No rush, ever
People buy an Airstream once or twice in a lifetime. Come three times, measure the bed, bring the dog. We would rather you were certain.
Come Say Hello
The best way to understand one is to stand inside it
Bring the family, open every cupboard, lie down on the bed. Ask the awkward questions about weight ratings and resale. We would much rather spend an afternoon with you now than sell you the wrong trailer this week.
